We will never forget our initial consultation with Kathryn and Nerses. They were excited to have started their contract for the beautiful Huntington Ballroom at the Langham Pasadena for their 450 guest count wedding but asked me what I thought of the news circulating about “Covid”. It was the first I had heard of the pandemic and really didn’t know how to respond. Just like the rest of the world and the rest of our industry we had no idea how the world would change in the coming months.

It wasn’t much later when it became clear their we wouldn’t be celebrating the way we had always been used to. This became our first official “covid wedding”. An intimate event where covid precautions would be set in place, only their closest family and friends were invited and tables were set with 6ft distance between couples. The wedding took place outdoors in their family home, guests and vendors were tested before the big day and created a covid insert for the wedding invitations. It was beautiful and special to say the least.

The magical city of San Francisco was the perfect setting for this romantic wedding at the Ritz Carlton. The bride wore three gorgeous custom gowns throughout her day that started with a photoshoot in the city, was followed by a intimate Persian Sofreh ceremony in a beautifully draped tent and ended with a elegant reception in the ballroom.
